Student Ministry - Infusing Young People’s Lives with the Love of Christ
Here at Healing Place Church, we teach young adults to discover who they are in Christ. In a world permeated with division and distraction, we guide young hearts and minds in connection to the Word of God and his teachings. Our youth ministries helpshape the lives of our youth through education, relations, and spiritual connection.
Our youth activities are designed to teach The Word, discipleship, build relations with church leaders and volunteers, and help youths develop personal worship, character, discipline, and virtue. “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” (Timothy 4:12)
If you have a young student in the family or are a high school student, contact us today and find out how you can join the big Healing Place family.
A Student Ministry for Young Teens - Middle and High School Students
Our youth groups are tailored to students that are looking for new ways to expand their relationship with Jesus Christ. Our Healing Place Church youth ministry focuses on students that are in middle school and high school. We create opportunities for those in the 7th to 12 grades to join high-energy environments.
Our student ministries:
- Foster meaningful relationships between teens, pastors, and leaders
- Teach and promote the Word of God through study and active learning
- Encourage personal responsibility
- Embolden youths to find their purpose in God and pursue a righteous path
The Mission of Healing Place Church Student Ministry
Just like guiding young children towards a relationship with Jesus Christ, we support teens to grow their love of Christ as they face unique challenges, gain independence, and face obstacles and decisions in their lives. We deepen teens’ understanding and knowledge of who Jesus was and how he makes an impact in our lives. Our mission is to provide activities and educational programs for young teens looking to learn the message of love in the Bible.
What is the Student Ministry All About?
Today’s world offers young people a lot of distractions from what really matters. As part of our mission to strengthen families and provide healing in a hurting world, we work through teen outreach, education, group-building, and Bible study. Healing Place student ministry provides a space for small groups of students with similar interests and schedules to find and discover their passions and talents while growing in Christ.
Events and Activities We Offer
We offer various opportunities for students to engage with their local community and like-minded friends. By cultivating a positive environment, we help our family connect and build caring relationships with others. We believe in the power of helping each other in our journey of becoming more like Christ together.
We provide retreats up in the mountains in Ruidoso and various other places. Our retreats are intensive, as they focus on strengthening growth as believers and within our relationships. We also encourage intense fun! Healing Place Church also offers Men’s, Women’s, Student, and Marriage retreats.
Every year, we provide our high school students with a summer camp. Our summer camps are high energy worship environments. In the past, we’ve welcomed some of the greatest youth speakers and bands in the country. If you’re interested in learning more about our summer camp, then reach out to us!
